Chinese dissident’s wife: victim of the 709 Crackdown of lawyers and activists

The 709 Crackdown (Chinese: 中国709维权律师大抓捕事件) was a nationwide crackdown on Chinese lawyers and human rights activists, which started on 9 July 2015.

Li Wenzu went on a journey, well documented on social media, to get her husband back after he was “vanished” by the government, imprisoned without a trial.
