HK Police Officers Target Volunteer First Aiders on 721 Night

A first-aider was fined by the police, on the grounds of violating the gathering restrictions, after he escorted a civilian who felt unwell to an ambulance at Fung Yau Street North.

Police officers at the scene said in an extremely sarcastic manner that they were specifically targeting volunteer first-aiders. They also comment that the volunteer first aiders at the scene were ”fake first-aiders”, and that they were of no help to the civilians present.

Based on observation, it seems like the police officers at the scene were very concerned as to whether the journalists and first-aiders at the scene were ‘real’ or not.
